About the Role
The Yacht Edit and The Yacht Edit Shop are seeking a motivated, creative, and organized team member to support both our media production and merchandising operations. This is a growth-focused role for someone who is passionate about content creation, storytelling, and brand building within the yachting and lifestyle space.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Manage and grow our company's YouTube channel
- Produce long-form YouTube episodes, typically 10 to 15 minutes
- Create short-form content for social media platforms
- Filming, editing, and storytelling across projects
- Help develop creative concepts and improve content performance
- Collaborate with the team on content strategy and scheduling
Merchandise Management
- Oversee day-to-day merchandising operations for The Yacht Edit Shop
- Assist with product curation and new product development
- Manage inventory tracking and fulfillment coordination
- Support pop-ups, events, and activations
- Develop partnerships with local retail stores and collaborators
- Help expand brand presence through merchandising opportunities
Requirements
- Passion for filming, storytelling, and editing
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Interest in brand building and social media growth
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed
- Valid passport required
- Desire to grow into a full-time role and expand responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating viral content
- Experience working with YouTubers or digital creators
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and social media trends
- Background in merchandising, retail, or product-based brands
