The pay range for this role is $19.96- 28.20

5 days weekly some weekends

Must know REVIT and/or AutoCad/ illustrator

Comfortable using computer programs like Excel & power point

Be able to use power tools and be able to be on a ladder and lift 30lbs above their head

Can paint walls and feels comfortable moving furniture

An eye for style with a willingness to design for the many

A strong communicator written & verbal

Able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable working in a fast pace environment

Degree in interior design is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that reflect client needs, preferences, and project scope
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and AutoCAD
  • Prepare accurate construction documents and specifications utilizing Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite tools
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting solutions, and furnishings based on color theory and lighting design principles
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and clients to coordinate renovation and remodeling efforts
  • Conduct site visits to oversee installation processes, verify compliance with design intent, and resolve on-site issues
  • Prepare contracts and scope of work documentation in accordance with industry standards
  • Support sales efforts by presenting design proposals and lighting solutions that meet client expectations
  • Assist in procurement activities related to lighting sales, fixtures, and furnishings

Experience

  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects including renovation and remodeling
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques, CAD standards, color theory, lighting design principles, and construction documentation
  • Familiarity with project management practices including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Experience coordinating with contractors on construction sites to ensure project specifications are met
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
