INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT COORDINATOR
Spaces of Distinction is a Westchester based interior design firm servicing clients throughout the US. We are dedicated to creating thoughtful, timeless interiors tailored to each client's lifestyle. We specialize in high-end residential design and pride ourselves on exceptional client service, attention to detail, and seamless project management.
We are seeking a talented and highly organized candidate to join our team on an in-person and part-time basis for 3 to 4 days per week. This position is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys both the creative and administrative aspects of interior design and is comfortable coordinating projects from concept through installation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with design development, space planning, and material selections
- Create and update design presentations and client materials.
- Produce drawings and documentation using CAD software
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and workrooms
- Prepare proposals, purchase orders, and invoices using Studio Designer software
- Track orders, deliveries, and installations to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Prepare and maintain budget spreadsheets, project files, prepare mood boards and documentation
- Support client communication and follow up
SKILLS:
- Microsoft Office

- CAD (AutoCAD or similar)

Applicants must have a 4 year Interior Design degree along with a minimum of 5 years work experience in the interior design field.
