Instructional Designer (eLearning) Jobs in United States at Creative Circle
Instructional Designer (eLearning Focus) We are seeking an Instructional Designer with a strong focus on eLearning development to support the creation of engaging, skill-based learning experiences for a large enterprise organization. This role will partner with program leadership and subject matter experts to design and deliver interactive, digital-first training solutions aligned to an established learning strategy. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on in development and comfortable owning projects from analysis through delivery, with a strong emphasis on self-paced learning.
The Basics
- Duration: 6-month contract
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Location: Remote (EST time zone strongly preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of instructional design experience
- Hands-on experience designing self-paced eLearning (Storyline, Rise 360)
- Experience supporting multiple delivery formats (eLearning, virtual, instructor-led)
- Proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
- Experience creating storyboards and translating complex content into engaging learning modules
- Strong collaboration skills working with SMEs and cross-functional teams
- Solid project management and organizational skills (Wrike or similar tools a plus)
- Familiarity with AI tools in content or learning development
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct job and task analyses and support learning needs assessments
- Design and develop interactive, self-paced eLearning modules
- Create course outlines, storyboards, and learning objectives at course and module level
- Collaborate with SMEs and program leadership to align training with business goals
- Apply instructional design best practices to develop engaging, effective learning experiences
- Support blended learning solutions including virtual and instructor-led components
- Partner with eLearning specialists on development of digital learning assets
- Assist in developing assessment strategies and evaluating training effectiveness
- Review learner feedback and performance data to support continuous improvement
