Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Illustrator for our global medical manufacturing client to support projects on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for a creative professional with experience in scientific or medical illustration who is comfortable working with sensitive content and collaborating across teams. Work is assigned as needed, with flexible hours that vary week to week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate, high-quality medical and scientific illustrations for presentations and publications
- Translate complex concepts into clear, visually engaging imagery for medical professionals
- Collaborate across divisions to support project needs and timelines
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in medical, scientific, or technical illustration
- Strong portfolio of medical/scientific work (required)
- Comfort working with sensitive imagery
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Additional Details:
- Project-based, ad-hoc work with no set schedule
- Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET (flexible within this window)
- Can be performed alongside a full-time role
- Resume and portfolio must be submitted together
