Overview
Human-Centered Design Associate Jobs in United States at Gapingvoid Culture Design Group
YOUR IMPACT ON CULTURE DESIGN©
As an Associate, you’ll play a supporting and learning role in transforming organizations into inspiring, high-performing places to do meaningful work. You’ll help design and deliver the experiences, artifacts, and insights that shift behavior and build culture in complex government and enterprise environments.
Day to day, you’ll act as a connector, bridging clients, consultants, and creatives to keep projects moving. You’ll be a maker, producing communications, presentations, and cultural artifacts that spread new norms. You’ll be a learner, diving into design, business, and social science while building your craft as a culture strategist. And you’ll be an organizer, making sure the details that bring it all to life don’t slip through the cracks.
You’ll be part of our Consulting team, working alongside consultants and creatives to deliver high-impact projects that integrate creativity, systems thinking, and human-centered design. At Gapingvoid, we use culture as a lever for meaningful change, and you’ll be right at the center of it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Project Administration: You’ll support the operational side of projects by managing calendars, organizing files, tracking deliverables, and troubleshooting tools and systems. This includes anticipating roadblocks and providing solutions that keep projects running smoothly. By keeping the details under control, you’ll free the consulting team to focus on high-value strategy and engagement.
Client Communications: You’ll draft clear, jargon-free communications that ensure clients are informed, aligned, and engaged throughout every phase of a project. This includes preparing briefing materials, drafting follow-up notes, and coordinating with consultants to translate complex ideas into accessible language. Your work will help clients feel supported, heard, and confident in the process.
Event Planning & Coordination: From launches to high-level facilitation sessions, you’ll help orchestrate events that become turning points for client culture. You’ll manage logistics such as vendor coordination, registration, travel, and on-the-ground support, ensuring every detail is accounted for. These moments matter – you’ll be trusted to help create seamless experiences that feel intentional, professional, and transformative.
Data Collection & Analysis: You’ll help design and run surveys, interviews, and facilitation exercises that capture the lived experience of stakeholders. Beyond gathering data, you’ll also support consultants in analyzing trends, surfacing insights, and framing stories that connect individual voices to system-level change. This is where curiosity and rigor meet: turning raw information into the fuel for transformation.
Experience Design & Facilitation Support: You’ll help design client engagements that spark new ways of thinking and working. This includes preparing materials, supporting facilitators during sessions, and capturing insights in real time. You’ll learn how to read a room, adapt in the moment, and contribute to the flow of conversations that build alignment and unlock new perspectives.
Presentation & Creative Development: You’ll help bring strategy and insights to life through polished presentations and reports. Working with consultants and creatives, you’ll shape decks, visual tools, and cultural artifacts that communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. These deliverables become the anchors that clients return to as they build their culture.

ABOUT GAPINGVOID
We don’t fix broken culture.
We build human operating systems.
Gapingvoid exists to transform how organizations think, feel, and perform – from the inside out. We create Culture as a System (CaaS)™️: a behavioral programming discipline that treats culture like code. It debugs dysfunction, installs belief, and maintains performance – scalably, measurably, and under pressure.
Our team is a mix of culture designers, behavioral scientists, artists, storytellers, anthropologists, and learning strategists – united by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a bias for bold, meaningful change.
We Cut Through BS.
We Design Belief.
We Install Devotion.
Work sits at the bottom of most people's identity stack. Dead last. Beneath family, friends, hobbies – everything else that matters to them. We flip that script. Joining Gapingvoid means stepping into a fast-moving, emotionally intelligent environment where we care audibly, lead with clarity, and build systems that last. It’s intense. It’s meaningful. It’s transformative.
