Head of Strategy
Our client is a creative multidisciplinary agency with an excellent reputation – a high-end design studio agency, located in the centre of Auckland.
They are looking to future growth and are on the hunt for a Head of Strategy to lead the strategy team, positioning them as the premier design and brand studio across Aotearoa and beyond.
As the Head of Strategy, you will be the architect of the studio’s intellectual rigour and thrive at the intersection of brand craft and business transformation. You will champion the “design that works” ethos, ensuring every project is grounded in deep insight and delivers measurable commercial and cultural impact.
You will be an architect of growth, champion relentless pursuit of excellence and act as a trusted partner who links design directly to commercial outcomes. Whether you are leading RFP or pitches, mentoring the next generation of talent, or pioneering the integration of Generative AI into the agency’s strategic toolkit, you bring the gravitas to lead and the grit to get stuck in.
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will be a pivotal member of the executive team, shaping the future of ambitious brands.
You will bring 10+ years in a senior strategic leadership within leading design or brand studios with advanced expertise in brand architecture, consumer research, and business transformation, and the proven ability to link design and brand strategy directly to a client’s P&L and business objectives.
This is a small, driven team, part of a global network. You will bring a collaborative, “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude with the ability to challenge the status quo when needed.
