Role Description
We are looking for a motivated Graphic Designer & Social Media Executive to support our creative team across design, photo editing, and content management.
In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and retouching images, preparing visual assets for client projects, and creating cohesive designs for social media, marketing materials, and brand deliverables. You will also own the content calendar, planning, scheduling, and publishing posts across our clients' social media platforms via Plannable, ensuring content goes out on time and aligns with campaign objectives.
You will work closely with our videographers, editors, and creative leads to ensure all visuals are consistent with brand guidelines and meet our agency's quality standards. On the social media front, you will collaborate with the team to develop content strategies, maintain posting schedules, and track performance to continuously improve our clients' online presence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom (retouching, colour correction, compositing)
- Solid skills in Adobe Illustrator and Canva (Figma is a bonus)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating photo editing and graphic design work
- Good understanding of design fundamentals (typography, hierarchy, spacing, colour)
- Ability to follow and maintain brand guidelines
- Experience creating visuals for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Experience managing content calendars and scheduling posts via social media tools (Plannable, Buffer, or similar)
- Familiarity with social media best practices, optimal posting times, caption writing, hashtag strategy, and platform-specific formats
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-quality check
- Good file organisation habits (naming, exporting, folder structuring)
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow creative direction
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
