We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who is passionate about branding, beauty, and creating work that stands out.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Graphic Designer to join our Johannesburg-based team.
You'll be responsible for creating beautiful, on-brand designs across our digital and print channels—from social media content and website assets to packaging, retailer marketing material, email campaigns, and in-store displays.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our marketing, product development, and e-commerce teams to bring new launches and campaigns to life while maintaining a consistent and elevated brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Create website graphics, banners, and promotional assets.
- Design and update product packaging and labels.
- Develop marketing collateral for retail and wholesale partners.
- Create email marketing graphics and promotional material.
- Prepare artwork for print production.
- Assist with creative direction and design support during photo and video shoots.
- Maintain and evolve Standard Beauty's visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' professional graphic design experience.
- Strong graphic design skills across both digital and print.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour, and composition.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) or equivalent software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative, brand-focused design work (portfolio submission is mandatory).
- Experience within the beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG industry is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to receive feedback positively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable working on-site in Johannesburg.
- Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is advantageous.
