About the Role
We are looking for a Graphic Designer and Production Specialist who possesses the maturity, passion, and energy to collaborate with others on the team. We need someone who can see beyond what is presented and design something that excites and inspires while also appreciating the value of simple, clean, and eye‑catching work.
Responsibilities
- Work in both the computer room and the production room until staff expansion allows role separation.
- Create computer‑generated full‑color graphics, output vinyl that can be weeded, cut and applied, or printed and mounted to various products from cars to buildings.
- Interact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction of the final product.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide‑format full‑color printouts.
- Prepare substrates, apply vinyl or other media, mount and/or laminate prints, operate and set up laminators for over‑laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products.
- Proofread signs and conduct quality assurance to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in off‑site installation of signage and graphics as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Signage design and production experience (years to be specified).
- Formal graphic design training from college or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (rating 1–10).
- Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
