Mid-Weight Graphic Design / Digital Content Producer

4 Days Part-Time or Full-Time

See The Label Digital Agency is looking for a Graphic / Digital Designer to join our St Kilda studio.

We’re a design-led agency with a strategic mindset, working with brands who care to be different. Our work spans branding, digital content, campaigns and websites always grounded in clarity, hierarchy and thoughtful execution.

We’re a small, collaborative team, so this role suits someone who enjoys variety, ownership and being part of the thinking, not just the output.

This role is ideal for a junior to mid-weight designer looking to grow across content, digital, and brand within a studio environment.

The Role:

Working closely with our Creative Director, you’ll be involved in a wide range of day-to-day design work across the agency.

As a boutique studio, our projects are intentionally diverse, so we’re looking for a true all-rounder who enjoys switching between different types of work and flexing different creative muscles.

You won’t just be executing briefs, you’ll be expected to understand the strategy, audience and objective behind the work, and translate that into thoughtful design outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on content and campaign design, with opportunities to expand into web and branding.

Creative & Campaign Support (Approx. 40%)

• Social and paid ad creatives (Meta, LinkedIn)

• Campaign rollouts and design variations

• Working closely with the ads team to translate strategy into creative

• High-volume output without compromising on quality

Content Production (Approx. 30%)

• Social media content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

• EDM design (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor)

• Brochures and marketing collateral

• Supporting blog and visual content creation

Website Content & UX (Approx. 20%) – Nice to Have

• Landing page layouts and updates

• Website content updates and refinements

• Basic UX thinking and layout improvements

• Supporting ongoing optimisation and evolution

Branding (Occasional)

• Logo design and visual identity development

• Font selection and system thinking

• Brand guidelines and rollout

Studio & Ad-Hoc Design

• Decks, presentations, proposals

• Internal marketing and agency assets

About You

You’re a junior, bordering mid-weight designer who:

• Has a strong foundation in design principles

• Thinks in hierarchy, layout, and clarity

• Can work at pace while maintaining attention to detail

• Is adaptable across different brands and industries

• Is confident contributing ideas and collaborating with a team

You have a genuine passion for design and a curiosity for how it connects to marketing, strategy and real business outcomes.

You don’t just execute, you think. You don’t need to know everything, but you’re motivated, curious and want to improve.

Design Approach & Required Skills

At See the Label, design is grounded in clarity, hierarchy, and intent.

We’re looking for someone who can translate ideas into considered, well-structured design, not just produce visuals.

You’ll bring:

• Experience across graphic and digital design

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

• Confidence using Canva for fast-paced content production

• A solid understanding of typography, layout and visual hierarchy

• The ability to create work that is consistent, on-brand and purposeful across digital formats

• Strong communication skills and comfort working collaboratively

• A tertiary qualification in communication design or a related field

You understand how to balance speed with quality, ensuring even high-volume work feels intentional and well-executed.

Desirable (but Not Essential)

• Experience working in EDM platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor)

• Website CMS experience (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace etc.)

• UI/UX design tools (Figma, Webflow, XD)

• Basic understanding of web structure and layout

• Exposure to AI tools for design workflows

Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 + super, depending on experience, capability, and contribution
