Pophaus is a Toronto based creative agency building scroll stopping content for fast growing CPG brands. We run studio shoots, manage creators, and ship content that actually moves the needle. Our clients are founders and marketing leaders who care about craft, speed, and results.

Who You Are

You are the designer who studies CPG brand feeds for fun, notices kerning in the wild, and can tell when a static ad was made in 10 minutes versus 10 hours.

You're obsessed with consumer brands. You collect references, you build systems, and you genuinely care about whether your work moved the number.

You design fast without sacrificing taste, and you want to do that work for brands that ship a lot and take risks. If that's you, keep reading.

Why This Role Exists

Pophaus ships a high volume of social and ad creative every week for fast growing CPG brands. The work has to look right, move fast, and perform.

This role owns three critical things:

  • Social graphics for Instagram and TikTok
  • Static ads for paid Meta and TikTok campaigns
  • Email design for client lifecycle and campaign flows

If it's a static asset going live for a Pophaus client, this role touched it.

What You'll Own

Social Graphic Design

  • Design Instagram and TikTok static posts, carousels, and Story graphics across multiple brands
  • Translate brand identity into platform native executions that feel built for social, not adapted from a deck
  • Maintain visual consistency across each brand's feed while keeping the work fresh
  • Build templates and systems where it makes sense, design from scratch where it matters

Static Ad Design

  • Design static ads for Meta and TikTok paid campaigns
  • Iterate quickly on top performing concepts to extend winners and test new angles
  • Work with the Art Director, creative strategist, and Social Media Manager to translate hooks and copy into scroll-stopping visuals
  • Use performance data to inform the next round of creative

Email Design

  • Design email campaigns and lifecycle flows in client brand systems
  • Build emails that look strong on mobile first, desktop second
  • Maintain consistency with each brand's broader visual language across social and ads

Collaboration & Ownership

  • Report into and work closely with the Art Director on creative direction and feedback
  • Partner with video editors, the Social Media Manager, and account leads
  • Keep Figma files and shared drives organized so the team can move without you in the room
  • Communicate proactively on timelines and flag risks early

What You'll Have at Pophaus

  • A creative team including video editors and a Social Media Manager to build alongside
  • Direct access to the founder and account leads for strategic context on each brand
  • A studio for shoots, so you'll see assets get made from concept through capture
  • A clear growth path into Senior Designer within 12 to 18 months as Pophaus scales

Non-Negotiables

  • 3+ years designing for consumer brands in an agency or in house setting
  • Hands on experience with CPG, food, beverage, wellness, or supplements
  • Strong portfolio of social graphics, static ads, and email design
  • Expert level Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Deep understanding of what looks right on Instagram, TikTok, and in inbox
  • Ability to balance brand consistency with platform native craft
  • Speed without sacrificing taste
  • A genuine obsession with consumer brand design and visual culture

Bonus Points

  • Motion graphics experience in After Effects
  • 3D experience in Cinema 4D, Blender, or Spline
  • Experience designing for Shopify or Klaviyo email systems

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

  • Figma (must)
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (must)
  • After Effects (bonus)
  • Cinema 4D, Blender, or Spline (bonus)
  • Google Drive, Slack, and Notion

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 to $70,000 CAD base, based on experience
