About The Role
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis to support a major operations-focused conference held annually in Las Vegas. This event serves as a key platform for associates, partners, and vendors to celebrate achievements and align on strategic objectives for the upcoming year. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive design system and executing a variety of visual assets across multiple media formats. The ideal candidate will have extensive branding experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce compelling graphics that resonate with diverse audiences. This position is based in Irving, TX, requiring 1-2 days onsite work, with the contract expected to conclude by February 2027.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, or a related field, coupled with at least four years of professional experience in a corporate or agency environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential. Motion and video capabilities are considered a plus, enhancing the ability to create dynamic visual content. A strong portfolio demonstrating impactful, imaginative design work for both print and digital formats is required. Candidates should have a proven understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and imagery, alongside excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects efficiently, and contribute creatively to brainstorming sessions is vital. Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills are also necessary to succeed in this deadline-driven role.
Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of the event’s visual identity, including the logo, design guidelines, and standards. Collaborating with stakeholders, the designer will understand strategic goals, target audiences, and project objectives to create cohesive visual assets. This includes designing branded charts, graphs, tables, icons, illustrations, and infographics that effectively communicate complex information. The role requires producing consistent and compelling graphics across digital formats, as well as print materials when necessary. Leveraging technical expertise and aesthetic sensibility, the designer will develop layouts and visual assets that align with brand standards and project needs. Coordination with internal teams across departments will be essential to ensure timely delivery and adherence to visual guidelines. The designer will actively seek feedback, incorporate revisions, and stay current with emerging design trends and best practices for large-scale events. Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail will be a core aspect of this role.
Benefits
As part of the Cella team, successful candidates will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance options. Additional offerings encompass accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan, all designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of employees. Cella is committed to fostering a supportive work environment that values diversity and inclusion, providing opportunities for professional growth and development. The company also emphasizes work-life balance and recognizes the importance of a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
