Our client is an internationally recognised fashion and street wear business with a strong digital DNA and a rapidly growing global customer base. As part of their continued international expansion, they are investing heavily in their e-commerce capability and are now seeking an experienced Global E-commerce Director to strengthen and scale their global online operations. This role sits at the heart of the business and plays a key part in delivering a consistent, high-quality digital experience worldwide.

Your Role
This position will take ownership of the global e-commerce operating model, with a strong focus on execution, governance, and continuous improvement. Leading a single global Shopify storefront, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, efficient product launches, and consistent content delivery across all international markets. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to manage complexity at scale.

Your Role

  • Take full responsibility for daily global e-commerce operations, including Shopify storefront management, site upkeep, and platform performance.
  • Manage global product setup and catalogue maintenance, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with standards, and consistency across markets
  • Drive and govern end‑to‑end workflows for product data, editorial content, and digital assets
  • Ensure all on-site product information, imagery, and creative assets meet brand and quality requirements
  • Coordinate and support seasonal launches, limited releases, and ongoing assortment updates on a global level.
  • Establish and continuously refine standard operating procedures to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability
  • Partner closely with IT and technical teams to enhance system integrations, particularly between PIM tools and Shopify
  • Work collaboratively with regional stakeholders to address local market needs while retaining centralised control and quality

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 10 years of experience in e-commerce operations or digital commerce roles
  • Strong hands-on experience working with Shopify in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing large product catalogues, product data, and content governance
  • Practical knowledge of PIM systems or comparable product data platforms
  • A highly organised, detail-focused, and process-driven working style
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, international environments
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • A background in fashion, street wear, retail, or consumer brands is highly advantageous.
