Position: FX Artist Contract at The Embassy
Join The Embassy as an FX Artist in Vancouver starting June 15th, 2026, for a 13-week contract focused on creating visual effects for film and television.
As a key player at this Oscar-nominated studio, you’ll need at least 3 years of FX experience to produce captivating effects using Houdini and Nuke. Work closely with other talented artists in a flexible hybrid environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Your ability to communicate clearly will be essential for collaborative success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Finalize FX shots to fulfill narrative goals
• Adhere to project milestones and deadlines
• Collaborate with artists to exchange techniques
• Provide solutions based on cross-departmental communication
• Research software for improved effects productivity
Requirements:
• 3+ years of FX work in film, TV, or commercials
• Strong understanding of the VFX pipeline
• Proficient in Houdini and Nuke
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong command of English communication
