They are currently seeking a freelance Video Editor with expertise in AI-powered animation tools to join their team remotely and create engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms. The role includes using tools such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, and Kling to develop innovative visuals and animations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement.
Job Profile for Video Editor
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for digital and social media platforms, including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Utilise AI-powered animation tools such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, Kling, and Sora to create engaging visual content and effects
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop compelling video content aligned with campaign objectives
- Create motion graphics, animated assets, and AI-generated visuals to enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement
- Adapt and optimise video content for multiple formats, aspect ratios, and platform requirements
- Manage video assets, project files, and deliverables while ensuring brand consistency and timely content delivery
Candidate Profile for Video Editor
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Animation, Visual Communications, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or digital content production
- Hands-on experience with AI animation and video generation tools such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, Kling, or equivalent platforms
- Strong portfolio in video editing, animation, and AI-generated social media content
- Experience creating performance-driven content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and similar platforms
- Proven ability to produce engaging content that drives conversions
- Experience with DTC brands, e-commerce, or creative marketing agencies is advantageous
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Frame.io, Notion, and Asana
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve knowledge is a plus
- Expertise in AI animation and video generation platforms
- Strong visual storytelling, editing, and short-form content creation skills
- Ability to translate creative briefs into impactful video content
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across creative and marketing teams
- High attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- Experience in fast-paced agency or startup environments is beneficial
- Background in 2D/3D animation, VFX, or generative AI content creation is preferred
- Knowledge of performance marketing, colour grading, sound design, post-production, and UGC formats is advantageous
- Experience with AI image generation tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E is a plus
