We are a dynamic PR agency seeking a highly creative and adaptable Freelance Social Media Content Creator to support content production for our diverse portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who can translate brand narratives into compelling, platform-native content. Candidates must be based in Los Angeles, as this position requires on-site shoots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content for client social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Reels, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with internal PR and marketing teams to execute content aligned with each client’s brand voice, campaigns, and media strategy
- Manage on-location shoots across Los Angeles, ensuring high production quality and efficiency
- Edit and deliver content optimized for performance across multiple platforms
- Adapt creative direction across a range of industries, clients, and aesthetics
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats
- Support content planning, ideation, and campaign execution as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience creating and editing social media content for brands, agencies, or clients (portfolio required)
- Strong proficiency in editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Deep understanding of social media trends and best practices across platforms
- Ability to quickly adapt to different brand voices and visual identities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Must be based in Los Angeles and available for in-person shoots
Preferred:
- Experience working within a PR agency or supporting client-based work
- Understanding of how social content integrates with PR campaigns and brand storytelling
- Familiarity with basic performance metrics and content optimization
