Our client, a New York-based advertising agency, is seeking a Freelance Project Director to support an urgent engagement. This role will lead a large-scale, integrated program across multiple workstreams, partnering closely with account, creative, and strategy teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 40 hours/week (East Coast hours)
- Rate: $65/hour
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for a large-scale integrated program
- Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account, creative, strategy, and production teams
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports
- Identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively drive solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on project status and execution
- Ensure alignment across teams and maintain high-quality standards throughout delivery
Required Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of project management experience within an agency environment (PR, advertising, or integrated marketing)
- Proven experience leading complex, integrated campaigns or programs
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive projects independently
- Experience with integrated campaign delivery across digital, social, and content
