Overview of the Role
Our well-known entertainment client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support franchise and consumer products marketing initiatives across a diverse entertainment portfolio spanning film, television, ands, and lifestyle brands. This role supports day-to-day marketing execution, franchise planning, and asset coordination, working closely with a Senior Manager and cross-functional partners to ensure marketing materials, submissions, and initiatives are executed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and passionate about entertainment franchises and fan engagement. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, comfort managing multiple workflows, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
The Basics
- Duration: 3 months
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Onsite in Burbank, CA

- Experience supporting marketing coordination, brand, or franchise initiatives within entertainment, media, or consumer products environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple submissions, deadlines, and approvals simultaneously
- Passion for entertainment properties, franchises, and fan-driven marketing, with familiarity across film, television, and lifestyle brands
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including creative, legal, finance, digital, and insights partners
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, usage rights, and approval processes
- Experience coordinating with agencies, vendors, or external partners
- Interest in social media marketing and innovative fan engagement approaches
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage approvals and documentation accurately
Key Responsibilities
- Review, route, and support approval of licensee and retailer marketing submissions for assigned properties
- Assist in executing franchise strategies and marketing initiatives in support of core brands and individual titles
- Develop materials for franchise presentations, pitch decks, sizzle videos, and related marketing assets
- Support acquisition, development, approval, and use of theatrical and television assets
- Assist with execution of social media content strategies and editorial calendars across platforms
- Obtain required internal, external, and third-party approvals including legal, brand assurance, usage rights, and talent clearances
- Maintain brand assurance guidelines and ensure timely updates and team communication
- Act as a first point of contact for product development and brand-related questions
- Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and external resources to support development timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Gather industry and competitive insights from internal teams and external data sources
- Collect and submit updates for franchise communications such as recurring newsletters
- Support additional projects and initiatives as business needs evolve
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
