As the FIT Regional Lead, you will be at the forefront of executing new food innovation projects and ensuring brand standards compliance. Your work will directly impact KFC's global brand consistency and growth. You will collaborate closely with the FIT Global Team and regional cross-functional CoE teams to develop and implement innovative food products and optimize global ingredient, packaging, and operational projects.
- Develop new food layers and global icons based on global team briefs, ensuring regional relevance.
- Collaborate with other hubs to expedite brand growth through daypart and global icon validation.
- Create regionally relevant innovation for calendar windows, driving brand engagement.
- Lead regional food brand standards projects, accelerating global standardization.
- Validate and implement global ingredient and packaging optimization projects, ensuring operational simplicity.
- Test new global equipment, determining cooking set points and operational procedures.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, coordinating regional efforts and maintaining open communication.
- Analyze data, validate processes, and optimize projects to enhance brand standards and compliance.
- Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A food-related college degree is required, such as Food Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Culinary Arts, or Meat and Poultry Science.
- 10-15 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in the QSR space, is essential.
- Creative thinking and expertise in food product development and innovation, with a deep understanding of flavor profiles, ingredient functionality, and processing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective cross-functional team coordination.
- Analytical abilities to evaluate data, validate processes, and optimize projects for brand standards compliance.
- Understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements at global and regional levels.
- Ability to test and validate new equipment, including determining optimal cooking set points and operational procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement process and product improvements.
