What You'll Do
- Watch short film and video clips and break them down into detailed, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
- Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, blocking, pacing, and mood
- Communicate emotional tone and atmosphere using purely visual indicators — no dialogue references
- Follow standardized formatting guidelines for scene summaries and beat-level breakdowns
- Re-watch clips as needed to capture accuracy and nuance
- Maintain consistency and quality across a high volume of scene descriptions
Who You Are
- Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form
- Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and precision
- Strong structured writing skills — you can organize observations into a clean, readable format
- Detail-oriented and comfortable rewatching footage to get it right
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No professional film or media experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in screenwriting, film studies, photography, or visual arts
- Experience writing shot lists, production notes, or creative briefs
- Familiarity with cinematographic terms and techniques
- Experience with annotation or content evaluation work
