Role Description The Film Editor will work on-site in the Eastern Province in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with photographers, videographers, and creative staff to produce high-quality video content. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting the most compelling shots, and editing sequences to create cohesive stories that meet client and studio requirements. The role involves color correction, audio synchronization, basic sound editing, and adding transitions, titles, and simple motion graphics where needed. The Film Editor will ensure all deliverables follow brand guidelines, technical specifications, and deadlines, while maintaining an organized archive of video projects. The position also includes reviewing feedback from clients and team members, refining edits, and supporting continuous improvement of production workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Film Editing and Video Post-Production, including assembling footage, cutting sequences, and refining narrative flow.
- Experience in Video Production and Post-Production workflows, from ingesting footage to exporting final deliverables in various formats.
- Familiarity with New Media platforms and requirements, such as social media, websites, and digital campaigns.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of color correction, audio leveling, and basic sound design for video projects.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative studio environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work.
