Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Film Director role based in Kuwait City. The Film Director will lead projects from concept to final delivery, working closely with clients and production teams to understand objectives, refine creative briefs, and translate business messages into compelling visual stories. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing concepts, planning storyboards, directing on-set production, guiding cast and crew, and ensuring that shoots stay on schedule and within budget. The role also involves collaborating with producers, cinematographers, and editors, overseeing post-production reviews, and maintaining consistent visual and narrative quality across all deliverables. The Film Director will contribute to pitching concepts, shaping creative treatments, and mentoring local talent to uphold the company’s production style and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Film Direction and Film Production skills to lead projects from concept through delivery.
- Proficiency to develop clear, engaging concepts aligned with client objectives.
- Hands-on experience in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating crews.
- Working knowledge of Post-Production processes, including editing, colour grading, and graphics.
- Proven background in corporate, documentary, or promotional filmmaking, ideally in international or multicultural environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams, provide clear creative direction, and manage deadlines and budgets.
- Openness to mentoring and developing emerging talent.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is required.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kuwait City and travel within the region as needed.
