Fashion Production CoordinatorProduct + Production Ownership (3–6 Month Contract)

We are looking for a highly capable Fashion Production Coordinator to take clear ownership of product and production flow across Miimi & Jiinda’s collections.

This role is focused on ensuring product moves smoothly from sampling → fittings → approvals → bulk production, with strong oversight across makers, suppliers, trims, timelines, and final product consistency.

This is not a design role. It is a highly execution-focused role for someone who deeply understands fashion production, can manage technical detail confidently, and protects product quality and consistency before it reaches the customer.

This role will work closely with the Founder and COO, ensuring product execution stays elevated, commercially disciplined, and operationally tight.

Core Responsibilities

Production Ownership

  • Own the full production timeline from sampling through to fittings, approvals, and bulk production
  • Ensure all production milestones are clearly mapped and actively managed
  • Keep makers, suppliers, and contractors aligned to timelines and delivery expectations
  • Identify risks early and proactively solve delays, bottlenecks, or production issues before they escalate
  • Ensure production readiness across trims, fabrics, final approvals, and handover into bulk
  • Product Coordination & Quality Control

    • Oversee fittings and support final product refinement to ensure consistency, quality, and elevated execution
    • Work closely with Founder on fit reviews, finish refinement, and product elevation
    • Ensure garments are commercially executable while maintaining premium product standards
    • Maintain clear oversight across samples, revisions, approvals, and product changes
    • Protect consistency across collections and ensure nothing moves forward based on assumptions or guesswork
  • Supplier + Maker Management

    • Manage day-to-day communication with makers, suppliers, and production partners
    • Ensure technical instructions, approvals, and timelines are clearly communicated and followed through
    • Coordinate trims, accessories, packaging elements, and production details where required
    • Build stronger production discipline across external partners and internal workflows

    Collection Development Support

    • Support execution across upcoming product priorities including core capsule collections and accessories, as well as new product development projects
    • Ensure these projects move forward operationally and do not sit dependent on founder follow-up alone

    Ideal Profile

    You are:

    • Deeply experienced in fashion production and product coordination
    • Strong with fittings, trims, production flow, and supplier management
    • Highly detail-oriented and naturally proactive
    • Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve quickly
    • Commercially aware and understand how production decisions impact margin and delivery
    • Comfortable working inside a fast-moving founder-led premium brand
    • Low-ego, collaborative, and strong at creating trust with both creative and operational teams

    You likely have experience in:

    • Fashion production coordination
    • Product development support
    • Supplier + maker management
    • Premium fashion / RTW brands
    • Launch and production ownership across multiple collections

    Reporting structure

this role works closely across both:

founder: for creative direction, product refinement and final approvals

coo: for operational priorities, commercial discipline, timeline accountability and business execution alignment

    contract structure

This is intended as a 3–6 month contract role to support the immediate production and product priorities of the business, with flexibility to reassess structure based on business needs and scale.
