Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and motivated Fashion Production Assistant to join our growing Cape Town team.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion production, product development, creative direction, and working within a fast-paced design environment. You will work closely with the UDO & HARMONY team across production, sales, supplier coordination, and day-to-day operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with fashion, knitwear, and accessories production processes.
- Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and production partners.
- Supporting creative direction and product development.
- Assisting with quality control to ensure high manufacturing standards.
- Managing production schedules, product tracking, and documentation.
- Supporting sales operations and customer communication.
- Assisting with fittings, sampling, and production coordination.
- Helping maintain organized workflows and studio operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design advantageous
- Experience in production assistance and quality control advantageous
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong editing and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines consistently
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
Advantageous Skills
- Previous experience in the fashion or accessories industry
- Clothing and knitwear pattern making skills
- Excellent sewing skills
- Own transport
