Position: Experienced Character FX Animator Needed
Join as an experienced Character FX Animator, focused on creating character features and simulations. Leverage your animation skills while contributing to an innovative project-based environment.
This full-time role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with character aesthetics, such as hair and cloth. You’ll be involved in developing character setups and simulations while ensuring productivity targets are achieved. Collaborating with peers, you’ll participate in dailies, provide feedback, and develop creative design solutions as part of a cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop character models, animations, and simulations
• Create realistic hair and cloth effects for projects
• Contribute to programming and scripting processes
• Ensure deadlines and quotas are consistently met
• Participate in team reviews and constructive feedback sessions
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years in character animation and FX artistry
• Proficient in Maya, Linux, and UNIX software
• Strong scripting ability in MEL, Perl, or Python is a plus
• Capable of independently and collectively driving project objectives
• Provide a demo reel that highlights your skills and creativity
