About the Role
The Exhibition Designer is responsible for the creation of three-dimensional concept designs to deliver the Powerhouse program. The role will work with internal and external collaborators to support the design and delivery of creative design outcomes for exhibitions, major installations, programs, visible collection storage, event and experiential design projects, this includes identifying, developing, and maintaining Powerhouse established standards of design excellence. We want to hear from you if you an experienced designer with exposure within government and/or major arts institution.

Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.
