Position: EVENT STAFF (Part Time)

THE TRENDING TABLE INC. is a leading events & media organization that organizes marketplaces for small businesses in Canada. We’re looking for a highly skilled event staff to help elevate our social media contents!
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, uphold world class service, and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and self-motivation to achieve goals effectively.
Assist with set up, tear down, cleaning, and any tasks related to setting up for the event
Managing and being present during the market events (ie: checking in with vendors, providing support to vendors, managing operations of the event)
Work alongside event coordinators to execute and manage tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Must have flexible availabilities for afternoon, evenings, and weekends (mainly Friday – Sunday)
Must be able to perform tasks in a fast paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by The Trending Table Inc.
Ability to lift 10-30 lbs
RESPONSIBILITIES
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is an asset
Must possess an enthusiastic and outgoing personality
Highly reliable with a strong commitment to on-time performance
Able to work well independently, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and self-motivation to achieve goals effectively
Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Capable of multitasking and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication abilities to coordinate with team members and clients
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments
Ability to lift and move items as needed for inventory management and event support assignments
Access to a laptop, smartphone, and high-speed internet for work-related tasks, including communication, scheduling, and administrative duties
Must have safety shoes required for on-site support tasks
