Position Summary
Chantecaille North America is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Manager, Brand E-Commerce & Performance Marketing to lead the growth and optimization of the brand’s direct-to-consumer digital business. This role will manage the regional e-commerce strategy & planning and day-to-day e-commerce operations including media oversight, and cross-functional execution to drive revenue, profitability, and brand visibility across all digital touchpoints.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with luxury brand sensibility and has experience managing luxury beauty e-commerce businesses, including oversight of digital media agencies and performance marketing investments.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Business Management
- Own and manage the e-commerce business performance, including sales, conversion, AOV, retention, and profitability metrics.
- Develop and execute annual & monthly digital commerce strategies aligned with global brand & business objectives.
- Monitor weekly/monthly business trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Partner with Finance and Planning teams on forecasting, inventory management, and promotional planning.
Digital Merchandising & Site Experience
- Partner with global digital team to provide input on merchandising, product launches, and promotional execution.
- Collaborate with Global Creative, Digital and Marketing teams to optimize product storytelling, navigation, and onsite customer journey to improve conversion and engagement.
- Partner with global digital team on a SEO and GEO strategy to strengthen organic traffic and site content.
Media Strategy & Investment Oversight
- Oversee external media agency relationships and manage performance across paid media channels including search, social, display and affiliates.
- Partner with agency teams to develop full-funnel digital marketing strategies that support brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Manage and optimize media budgets and investment allocation to maximize ROAS, and customer lifetime value.
- Review campaign performance, pacing, attribution, and reporting to ensure KPIs and business objectives are achieved.
- Provide strategic guidance on audience targeting, channel mix, testing strategies, and media innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align media investments with product launches, promotional calendars, and brand priorities.
Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Support customer retention strategies through loyalty, email and SMS marketing, personalization, and win-back / lifecycle campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior and implement strategies to improve repeat purchase and lifetime value.
Platform & Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day site operations including QA, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.
- Ensure a seamless checkout, fulfillment, and post-purchase experience.
- Monitor competitive trends and best practices within luxury beauty and e-commerce to advise global partners on any future opportunities.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report KPIs including traffic, conversion, retention, customer acquisition cost, media efficiency / creative performance, and revenue.
- Use analytics tools to identify growth opportunities and improve customer experience.
- Present business performance updates and strategic recommendations to Director and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital commerce, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of e-commerce or digital commerce experience, preferably within beauty, skincare, luxury, or consumer brands.
- Experience managing digital media agencies and performance marketing investments.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, media reporting platforms, and e-commerce KPI analysis.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working within prestige beauty or luxury consumer brands.
- Familiarity with subscription, loyalty, and CRM retention strategies.
- Understanding of SEO, paid media, and omnichannel customer journeys.
- Experience managing external vendors, agencies, or development partners.
