Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be developing strategic marketing plans for the hotel and then overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. This might include evaluating the results of different marketing campaigns, spearheading market research efforts, or coordinating initiatives across a variety of channels. As a Director of Marketing and Communications, you’re not just executing marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
The Director of Marketing and Communications should have strong prior marketing experience. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of communications, marketing, e-commerce, and public relations initiatives aligned with the hotel’s strategy.
The Marketing Director will manage, train, and support the career development of marketing team members, while working closely with the Commercial Director (CD), General Manager (GM), and other departments to identify opportunities and provide support to achieve revenue targets.
The role carries full accountability for the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and delivering measurable ROI across all initiatives.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Execute hotel marketing strategies: Support the design and rollout of property-specific campaigns across digital channels, social media, and branded platforms to drive visibility and revenue.
- Stay up to date on industry trends: Monitor emerging marketing tools, technologies, and consumer behaviors relevant to the hotel industry and target audiences
- Report on campaign performance: Prepare and deliver monthly performance updates and marketing analyses to Sales and Revenue Management teams
- Support cross-functional initiatives: Partner with department leaders to execute targeted campaigns that drive revenue and guest engagement
Key Focus Areas
Digital / Online Focus
- Plan the e-commerce strategy and optimize channel mix for maximum effectiveness
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and revenue forecasts across digital channels, including direct and OTA platforms
- Evaluate and report on the success and ROI of marketing initiatives
PR Focus
- Manage all media relations and reputation management, liaising with Regional PR teams as required
- Ensure strong media relationships are leveraged to maximize both online and offline coverage
- Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting performance, achievements, and upcoming activities
Social Media Focus
- Develop and manage the yearly social media strategy
- Define target audiences, set objectives, and create engaging content strategies to drive traffic and conversions
- Coordinates influencer strategy with public relations team to leverage social media opportunities.
- Design, implement, and manage social media campaigns aligned with the hotel’s strategic marketing plan
F&B And Other Resort’s Outlets Focus
- Provide final approval for all F&B and other Resort’s outlets collateral (including digital signage and marketing materials)
- Ensure F&B and other Resort’s outlets brand messaging is clear, compelling, and effectively communicated to target audiences
- Collaborate with F&B and other Resort’s outlets teams on need periods and develop action plans to drive bookings
- Support the development of F&B and other Resort’s outlets brands that build customer loyalty and retention
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Develops strategic marketing plans and establish annual marketing budgets along with the CD. Marketing plans should be annual, monthly and by segment of deployment inclusive of cost, deployment strategies (print, digital, and/or social media) through the review of competitive data, demand analysis and market mix management.
- Creates, manages and implements media/marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to increase revenues, awareness, and expansion of property products and/or services. Works with on-property and regional revenue management to develop offers or leverage off-the-shelf offers, based on hotel-level needs.
- Manages strategic direction on all marketing related areas including but not limited to: Social Media, Websites, Digital & Print Advertising, Email & Collateral.
- Work/Liaison with internal corporate partners related to internal corporate partners, including but not limited to Brand, Destination, and ECG.
- Oversees the strategy, budget, and development of visual assets and arranges photo & video shoots as needed/ appropriate.
- Identifies partnership/sponsorship opportunities for joint outreach.
- Conducts paid marketing surveys on current and new service levels and product concepts.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role within hospitality industry
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications
- Guest Service, guest retention Oriented
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and comparable creative tools, alongside advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
- Excellent leadership skills
- Exceptional communication skills and Strategic Thinking
