Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and lead the overarching marketing strategy across La Vie Hotels and Resorts, La Vie Living, and Leadwell Asset Management.
- Define and steward the La Vie brand architecture, ensuring consistency, differentiation, and relevance across all touchpoints and channels.
- Champion brand positioning that elevates La Vie's profile among guests, owners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and refine strategic direction.
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to align marketing priorities with group-wide commercial objectives, while remaining actively connected to hotel operations, teams and on-property initiatives.
Commercial Growth & Revenue Marketing
- Drive demand generation, direct bookings and revenue performance across the hotel portfolio through targeted, data-led campaigns.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to ensure marketing investment is optimised for measurable commercial return.
- Lead customer acquisition, retention and loyalty strategies, owning the full guest journey from awareness through to advocacy.
- Develop and manage co-marketing programmes with owner and operator partners to maximise portfolio-wide exposure.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks that connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Take a practical and hands-on approach to campaign execution and performance, supporting hotels and teams where required to bring initiatives to life.
Digital, Content & Channel Management
- Own the digital ecosystem, including brand websites, SEO/SEM, paid media, email marketing, and OTA positioning.
- Lead the content strategy across all platforms to ensure compelling, on-brand storytelling that drives engagement and conversion.
- Oversee social media presence across the group, growing audience and community engagement with an authentic, premium voice.
- Champion digital innovation, identifying emerging platforms, technologies and tools that can drive competitive advantage.
- Manage and optimise the marketing technology stack, including CRM, CMS, analytics and automation platforms.
- Remain actively involved in content direction, campaign rollouts, hotel activations and brand execution to ensure consistency and quality across the portfolio.
Public Relations, Partnerships & Communications
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that builds brand awareness and positions La Vie Hospitality as a leading voice in the market.
- Manage agency relationships across PR, creative and media, setting clear briefs, budgets and performance expectations.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with media outlets, influencer networks, lifestyle brands and industry bodies.
- Oversee crisis communications in collaboration with the executive team to protect brand reputation.
- Represent La Vie Hospitality at industry events, forums and external speaking engagements where appropriate.
- Support hotels and operational teams with key launches, events and brand moments, maintaining a visible and approachable presence across the business.
La Vie Living & Leadwell Asset Management
- Provide marketing leadership and support for La Vie Living's premium residential offering, ensuring brand alignment with the broader group narrative.
- Support Leadwell Asset Management with marketing collateral, thought leadership and business development materials targeting hotel owners and investors.
- Develop targeted B2B marketing strategies that reinforce La Vie's credentials as a trusted third-party operator and asset manager.
Team & Budget Leadership
- Manage the annual marketing budget with commercial rigour, ensuring strong ROI across all spend categories.
- Act as a collaborative partner to property-level marketing teams, providing strategic guidance and group-wide resources.
- Lead, mentor and support marketing team members across the portfolio, fostering a collaborative, agile and commercially focused culture.
- Maintain a hands-on leadership style, balancing strategic direction with practical involvement in key projects, hotel support and day-to-day brand execution where required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years at leadership level.
- Demonstrated track record in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, real estate or adjacent consumer sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and execute brand and commercial marketing strategies at a portfolio or group level.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, paid media, CRM, marketing automation and analytics.
- Experience managing external agencies (creative, PR, media) and holding them to performance standards.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing investment directly to revenue outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to boards and senior executives.
- A natural leader who builds engaged, high-performing teams.
Desirable
- Experience working across both B2C and B2B marketing environments.
- Familiarity with hotel distribution channels, OTAs, and revenue management principles.
- Experience in residential or property marketing.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- Established media, PR and industry networks within the hospitality or lifestyle sector.
