The Role

The Director of Experiential Marketing owns the strategy and execution of how Levels shows up in the real world.

This role is responsible for creating high-impact brand experiences that drive cultural relevance, community connection, and long-term brand equity. You will lead the development of events, pop-ups, brand moments, and experiential platforms that bring the Levels brand to life in a way that is unmistakably us.

You will work cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Social, Influencer, and Partnerships to ensure every experience is cohesive, intentional, and worth showing up for.

This is a senior operator role for someone who can think big, move fast, and execute without hand-holding.

What You’ll Own

Experiential Strategy & Platforms (Core)

  • Own the overarching experiential strategy for Levels
  • Define where, when, and how the brand shows up in the real world
  • Build scalable experiential platforms, not one-off events
  • Ensure all experiential efforts ladder back to brand and business priorities

Event & Experience Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of events, pop-ups, and brand activations
  • Create experiences that are immersive, culturally relevant, and shareable
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and production from concept to execution
  • Ensure a high bar for quality, detail, and brand consistency

Brand Moments & Cultural Relevance

  • Create high-impact brand moments tied to product launches, seasonal pushes, and cultural opportunities
  • Identify non-obvious ways for the brand to show up in the real world
  • Push beyond expected “fitness brand” experiences into broader cultural spaces

Partnerships (Experiential-Led)

  • Develop and execute partnerships that enhance or extend experiential programs
  • Identify collaborators, venues, and partners that elevate brand perception
  • Own relationship management and deal execution for experiential partnerships

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with Brand, Creative, Social, and Influencer teams to ensure experiences translate into content and amplification
  • Align experiential efforts with broader campaigns and launches
  • Act as the connective tissue between idea and real-world execution

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define success metrics for experiential efforts (engagement, reach, content output, brand lift)
  • Evaluate performance and refine future programming
  • Partner with Analytics to understand downstream impact on brand and demand

Requirements

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experiential marketing, brand activations, or event strategy within consumer brands
  • 4+ years at a Director level (or equivalent), owning experiential strategy and execution
  • Experience building and scaling experiential programs, not just executing one-offs
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact brand experiences

Experiential Expertise

  • Deep experience producing events, pop-ups, and immersive brand activations
  • Strong vendor, agency, and production management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong eye for creative and brand expression in physical environments
