Digital Video Producer/Editor

We are looking for a platform-native Digital Video Producer/Editor to join our creative team and help define the future of our social storytelling.

Your mission is to transform long-form library content into high-performing, social-first creative for our global brands. Bridging the gap between cinematic storytelling and performance marketing, you will move beyond traditional TV promos to focus on building “ad-first” content designed to stop the scroll, spark curiosity, and convert viewers into subscribers and fans.

As a specialist in this space, you will also establish the visual benchmarks and tactical ‘plays’ that steer our global brands toward greater social success, setting a new standard for our broader creative team.

This role will report to the Creative Manager, Global Channels & Streaming and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000 – $85,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ad-First Execution:
Rapidly produce high-impact paid and organic social creative for a diverse portfolio, shifting styles seamlessly from “prestige history” to “vibrant wildlife.”
  • The 3-Second Rule:
Master the art of the “hook.” You’ll transform long-form library content into thumb-stopping social assets for Meta, Tik Tok, and Google/You Tube.
  • Data-Driven Iteration:
Collaborate with the Marketing team to review weekly performance. You’ll lean into the data to rapidly version winning ads with new hooks, music, and captions.
  • Standard Setting:
Develop repeatable workflows, templates, and text-overlay styles that improve efficiency and elevate the social output across the wider creative team.
  • AI-Enhanced Workflow:
Embrace and implement AI tools to automate the “manual” parts of editing (captioning, resizing, versioning) so you can focus on the creative strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience producing creative specifically for paid and/or organic social channels and a clear understanding of platform trends and “native” aesthetics.
  • Proven versatility editing for different brand voices.
  • A “performance” mindset that embraces testing and data-driven creative iterations.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Curious and intuitive, with a natural pulse on what’s trending in social media.
  • Able to thrive in a “test and learn” environment where…
