The Role:

Rate: R32,000 – R35,000 per month
Our client is seeking a Planner to join their team, working closely with senior leadership to develop data-driven, geo-centric marketing strategies. This role will involve translating complex location-based datasets into actionable digital media plans across a range of leading platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analyse historical campaign performance and client data to identify trends, insights, and growth opportunities.
- Create compelling campaign strategies and proposals that clearly communicate the value of geo-spatial data.
- Develop data-led visualisations and mapping outputs to demonstrate how real-world insights enhance campaign performance.
- Build effective media plans aligned to key KPIs, selecting appropriate platforms based on audience behaviour and creative needs (e.g. Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit).
- Support forecasting and budget allocation to maximise efficiency through hyper-local optimisation.
- Collaborate with account teams, attend client meetings, and present strategic recommendations in a clear and persuasive manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital media planning, out-of-home advertising, or strategic account management
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, particularly for forecasting and budget modelling
- Experience with data visualisation or mapping tools is highly desirable
- Excellent presentation skills with experience creating high-quality strategic materials
