We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist Intern to join our growing team in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
This internship combines elements of Digital Marketing, SEO and Copywriting, Content Creation, making it ideal for candidates who are passionate about online marketing, writing, analytics, and search engine optimisation.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience working on real-world digital campaigns, SEO strategies, website optimisation, content marketing, social media, and performance reporting.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, creative, and eager to learn. They should enjoy both the technical and creative sides of digital marketing, including writing content, analysing data, improving search rankings, and helping grow online brands.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Analytical skills to make data driven decision making
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing and SEO principles
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading ability
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
- Strong internet research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Must be able to work from our offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Experience with CMS platforms
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Canva or basic graphic design experience
- Blogging, copywriting, or portfolio samples
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or AI content tools
- Understanding of social media marketing platforms

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Amazon Seller Central listing management
- Write SEO-optimised website content, blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Optimise website pages for improved Google rankings
- Assist with content marketing and SEO strategies
- Monitor website traffic and search performance using analytics tools
- Support Google Ads and Meta Ads campaign management
- Create and schedule social media content
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and digital promotions
- Perform on-page SEO improvements including metadata, headings, and internal linking
- Generate reports using Excel, and analytics platforms
- Research digital marketing trends and identify growth opportunities
