LHH is partnering with a well‑established, California‑based Legal firm to hire a Digital Marketing Coordinator. This role supports firmwide social media and graphic design for business development initiatives by owning the full lifecycle of social media content—from concept and design through publishing, engagement, and performance analysis. To be a fit for this role you should bring at least 2 years of experience in Social Media/Graphic Design within the legal/professional services industries ideally.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on marketer who thinks strategically about social media while executing the graphic design, visual storytelling, and content delivery that bring campaigns to life. The role operates in a hybrid setting, 3x onsite/week in San Diego, and offers a salary of $72,000-$82,000, depending on experience. There are robust benefits as well for employees.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated social media and visual content strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X
  • Conceptualize, design, and publish cohesive social media content—combining copy, graphics, infographics, templates, and short‑form video into unified campaigns
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns messaging, visuals, and timing across platforms and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and visually driven content
  • Design branded digital assets that support social media, marketing campaigns, event promotion, and broader firm communications
  • Ensure all written and visual content adheres to brand standards, tone, and visual identity
  • Monitor and actively engage with audiences through comments, messages, and mentions to maintain a professional and responsive online presence
  • Track performance metrics across social platforms and use insights to refine both creative approach and content strategy
  • Support broader marketing efforts including campaign execution, website updates, marketing materials, and internal content libraries
  • Assist with visual assets and promotion for events, presentations, proposals, and client‑facing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or visual content creation within a professional or corporate environment
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; video or motion tools a plus)
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools to inform content decisions
  • Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in Legal or a regulated industry is a plus
