We're on the lookout for a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist to join our passionate team based at Princes Wharf in Auckland CBD.
Our mission is simple but powerful — to empower young New Zealanders to reach their full potential through the challenge of the sea. Every year, young people step aboard the Spirit of New Zealand and leave with greater confidence, resilience and leadership skills.
This is an exciting, hands-on role for a creative marketer who loves telling stories, creating engaging content and delivering campaigns that make an impact. You'll be the guardian of our brand, helping ensure Spirit of Adventure remains relevant, inspiring and connected with young New Zealanders, their whānau, schools, supporters and sponsors.
From social media and content creation to website updates and campaign delivery, you'll help bring the Spirit of Adventure story to life across our digital channels.
What you'll be doing
- Creating and managing content across social media, website, email and digital platforms
- Delivering marketing campaigns from concept through to execution and reporting
- Managing and growing our online communities
- Capturing and creating photo and video content, including aboard voyages
- Working with sponsorship partners and external suppliers on marketing initiatives
- Identifying new trends, ideas and opportunities to keep our brand fresh and engaging
What you'll bring
- Experience in digital marketing, content creation or a similar role
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Confidence using social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and digital marketing tools
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young New Zealanders
