I’m helping Brandon find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Digital Creative Designer.
You'll build and own a Figma design system, shaping high-impact digital creative for a meaningful mission.

Responsibilities and more:
What You'll Be Doing:
Figma System Build (Phase 1):
– Partnering with our team to build our Figma production ecosystem from the ground up.
– Setting up client Brand Kits: color styles, typography styles, logo variants, component libraries.
– Building our master template set: static, carousel, and video storyboard frames for 1:1 and 9:16.
– Establishing file architecture, naming conventions, and component structure that scales.
– This is not a one-time task; you'll own and maintain the system as it grows.
Meta Ad Creative (Primary):
– Producing static, carousel, and video ad creative in two formats: 1:1 and 9:16.
– Working inside the Figma component system and brand kits you helped build.
– Executing from copy + moodboard with minimal visual direction.
– Producing carousel ad sets (3–5 cards) with clear narrative arc.
– Iterating on winning creative: refreshing, testing new angles, and scaling top performers.
– Delivering export-ready, correctly named files consistently and on time.
Email Design (Primary):
– Designing high-converting email templates in Figma: full layout, modular and reusable.
– Building beautiful, brand-consistent emails: promotional, nurture, transactional.
– Following email design best practices (600px, web-safe fonts, mobile-first).
– Handing off clean, organized files ready for developer or ESP implementation.
Motion & Video (Strong Bonus):
– Animating static concepts into short-form video ads (6–15 sec) for Reels and Stories.
– Storyboarding simple video concepts from copy direction.
– Creating motion graphics, text animations, and transitions in After Effects or equivalent.
– Editing UGC or raw footage into polished ad-ready cuts (a plus, not required).
Must-Haves:
– 3+ years of experience in digital / performance creative design.
– Strong, demonstrable portfolio of Meta ad creative (static and/or carousel).
– Expert-level Figma: setting up/working with design systems per brand, components, etc.
– Email design experience with a clear understanding of conversion-focused layouts and impactful design.
– An eye for what works on social: you scroll Meta with a critical eye, not just a casual one.
– Ability to work autonomously from copy + moodboard without detailed visual direction.
– Strong attention to detail: naming conventions, file organization, export specs matter to you.
– Excellent async communication: you flag blockers early, ask smart questions, and deliver on time.
– Comfortable working inside structured systems and following established processes.
Nice-to-Haves (Meaningful Bonus):
– Motion design experience: After Effects, Adobe Animate, or equivalent.
– Short-form video editing for ads.
– Storyboarding capability for simple video concepts.
– Experience with AI-assisted design tools (Midjourney, Krea, Magnific).
– Familiarity with Meta ad specs, safe zones, and platform best practices.
– Experience working with performance marketing teams or media buyers.
