Digital Content Specialist Jobs in London, England, United Kingdom at Haystack

Digital Content Specialist | £28,000 – £30,000

We're working with a boutique professional membership organisation dedicated to driving social impact and actionable insights for its members on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a creative storyteller who can bridge the gap between complex research and high-impact digital products using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and modern CMS platforms.

This isn't your average "post and ghost" marketing role; it is a high-impact position where you will take ownership of a brand-new website launch and transform raw webinar data into polished, high-value digital assets. You'll be the creative engine behind a small, collaborative team, ensuring every piece of content—from interactive PDFs to video snippets—is visually stunning and highly functional.

The Role

  • Lead the end-to-end digital production process, transforming research reports and webinars into engaging, user-centric resources and toolkits.
  • Take full ownership of the CMS, managing the upload, formatting, and UX quality control for a major new website launch and resource hub.
  • Create visually compelling multimedia content, including video editing for short-form social snippets and designing professional slide decks in PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Manage member-wide communications, designing high-converting newsletters and social media campaigns via platforms like Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring visual consistency across all digital touchpoints while collaborating with external designers for high-level creative projects.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in a Digital Content, Content Design, or Creative Production role with a portfolio showcasing high-quality digital assets.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools, specifically Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign/Premiere Pro), and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or Squiz) and an understanding of UX/UI best practices.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or academic "member-speak" into accessible, actionable digital content.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset comfortable working in a fully remote environment with occasional travel to London for team strategy sessions.

What's On Offer

  • Performance-based salary of £28,000 – £30,000 with clear impact visibility.
  • Fully remote working model providing excellent work-life balance and flexibility.
  • The chance to play a pivotal role in a major digital transformation and web launch project.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture where your creative input directly shapes the organization's future.
