Digital Art Director:
Job Summary
Guideposts is seeking a Digital Art Director to support and advance creative development across apps, email, social media, newsletters and digital marketing campaigns.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, design, content and marketing, translating strategy into compelling creative across media, email, and fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate is both conceptually strong and exceptionally capable — able to originate design ideas while also producing and iterating creative across digital channels.
This role is ideal for a designer with strong digital experience who is ready to take on greater ownership in shaping campaign creative, bringing both conceptual thinking and hands-on execution across digital touchpoints. You will work closely with creative leadership and marketing partners to shape how our brand shows up across digital experiences, driving engagement and action. This person may also contribute design support across other digital initiatives as needed, including digital programming, product launches, and app experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Originate campaign concepts for digital initiatives
- Lead visual development of digital campaigns from concept through execution in partnership with creative leadership.
- Translate brand and marketing strategy into compelling visual storytelling that drive engagement and conversion
- Develop strategic creative variations to optimize engagement and conversion
- Use performance insights to adjust and refine creative concepts and execution
- Create assets for channels including email, social, ads and landing pages
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, product and creative leadership to ensure creative solutions align with strategic goals and audience needs
- Work directly within platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Figma, Unbounce) as needed
- Maintain strong visual consistency across digital touchpoints
- Contribute design support across additional digital initiatives such as courses, e-books, and app features when needed
- Contribute to evolving how Guideposts expresses its brand across digital channels to drive action
Qualifications:
- Experience designing performance-driven creative for organic and paid channels
- Proven ability to ideate and develop original campaign concepts
- Technically proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong content marketing, digital advertising and promotional campaign background
- Able to articulate and present creative rationale clearly within a performance framework
- Familiarity with performance analytics and using them to inform creative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly within tools such as Klaviyo, Unbounce, and on social media platforms
- Experience designing fundraising or mission-driven campaigns
- Experience creating content for organic and paid social

Job Location & Travel Requirements:
This is a remote position with required travel to our Danbury, Connecticut, office on a quarterly basis for onsites and occasional travel between these visits depending on business needs.

Salary:
$70,000 – $80,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including skills and experience.
