About the team:
As part of the busy global Marketing team within Ninety One, the designers and managers across Creative Services help develop a wide selection of marketing collateral for the firm.
Our designers work closely with key business stakeholders to produce stunning marketing materials, bringing creativity, accuracy and professionalism to expressing the Ninety One brand, alongside a keen sense of commercial awareness.
In this role you will:
- Create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media, ensuring quality control, accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Carefully check all output to minimise rework
- Ensure strict version control is in place
- Work with wider marketing team to produce final designs
- Champion the brand
- Work collaboratively with other designers in the team as well as with agency designers, in both the UK and SA
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Develop designs using Creative Cloud, Adobe Creative Suite
- Test graphics across various media
- Help to maintain brand guidelines, templates, colour palettes, paragraph styles, image libraries and other assets
- Work closely with our external agencies on our social media guidelines and Ninety One's overall digital presence
You should consider applying if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree / related qualification (art/visual communications/graphic design diploma)
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Expert Adobe skills across InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Animation/video knowledge and experience advantageous but not essential
- Experience designing within corporate brand guidelines
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, comfortable working to tight deadlines and confident asking questions
- Strong communication and relationship skills, diligence and a high attention to detail
