Your Quest
The Design Lead drives the visual and creative direction. This role combines hands-on design execution with team leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs that align with brand and business goals. You have a strong awareness of the time and team required to produce excellent work. You can successfully manage your own time, your team’s time, calendars, and meetings to deliver work within scope.
The Design Lead will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to manage and prioritise design output.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall design vision, standards, and quality
- Lead, mentor, and review work from designers
- Contribute hands-on to design execution as needed
- Ensure consistency across products, marketing, and brand touchpoints
- Collaborate with Marketing and other stakeholders to manage design output and priorities
- Present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders
- Improve design workflows, tools, and processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in visual, product, or brand design
- Experience leading or mentoring a design team
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, colour, and visual systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
