ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for the person who will co-build and operationally lead the Europe Hub of Thingular Creative Partners, an international branding and packaging boutique specializing in premium brands across beverages, food, and adjacent sectors.
You are joining at a moment of deliberate transition, not consolidation. The Europe Hub is being reshaped, and you are a central part of that reshaping.
This is a senior role with a formal path towards partnership. You join as Design Director and, from month 6, after a period of mutual fit, a partner track activates with a deferred equity package and a review at 18-24 months for evolution to full Partner of the hub.
This is not a Senior Designer role with an” inflated” title. It is the next leadership figure of the Europe Hub.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead 4 to 6 premium European accounts end-to-end: brand strategy, design direction, presentation, and direct client relationship.
- Be the visible face of Thingular in Europe before CMOs, general managers, and brand owners when the direction is not present.
- Co-curate the studio's European portfolio and define the hub's visual standards.
- Integrate generative AI as a real productivity layer in the project workflow.
- Co-lead Thingular Europe's transition to a recurring revenue model and diversification beyond alcoholic beverages.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 8 to 12 years of experience in premium branding and packaging, ideally agency-side.
- A portfolio with at least two publishable cases: spirits, beauty, perfumery, hospitality, or premium FMCG.
- Proven experience owning the client relationship directly, not just executing under a director's supervision.
- Aesthetic judgment and strategic understanding of projects. We value rigor over trend, system over gesture, and discipline over decoration.
- Professional Spanish and English. Catalan, French, Italian, or Portuguese are a plus.
- Active command of generative AI tools applied to design and strategy. Not as theoretical knowledge: real integration into your workflows.
- Willingness to operate from Barcelona or, if you live in another European city, to maintain a minimal and regular presence there.

- A formal Partner Track: review at month 6 to activate the deferred equity package with 4-year vesting. Evolution to full Partner in months 18-24, against agreed milestones.

- A stable corporate structure: we have been at this for many years, but we are still an SME in a consolidation stage.
- Immediate equity. Equity is activated at month 6 and is earned by operating.
