We are searching for a Contract Design Director for our digital product design agency client. In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end design of a next-generation consumer mobile application for an innovative technology brand. You’ll help shape product strategy, define exceptional user experiences, and guide the design of a scalable, multi-platform product spanning mobile, tablet, and wearable devices. As Design Director, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end product design strategy and execution for a large-scale consumer mobile application.
- Drive experience design across mobile, tablet, and wearable platforms.
- Partner with product, engineering, and client stakeholders to align on roadmap, priorities, and product vision.
- Lead feature design across onboarding, home, account management, connected devices, and other core user experiences.
- Establish and evolve a scalable design system that supports future product growth.
- Balance immediate delivery needs with a long-term product vision spanning the next three to five years.
- Champion exceptional interaction design, visual design, and overall product craft.
- Present design concepts, facilitate discussions, and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the engagement.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery.
Who we’re searching for / About you:
- Extensive experience leading product design for complex consumer-facing digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX, UI, interaction design, and product thinking.
- Experience designing mobile applications, with tablet and wearable experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise building and scaling design systems.
- Highly proficient in Figma and modern product design workflows.
- Comfortable leading client-facing conversations and influencing product strategy.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working within an agency, consultancy, or fast-paced product environment is highly preferred.
