About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Curatorial Assistant Intern to support our curatorial and exhibition projects. The internship offers hands-on experience in exhibition research, planning, content development, and coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in curatorial research for exhibitions, publications, and cultural projects.
- Prepare research reports, concept notes, and assist with project documentation.
- Support exhibition planning, coordination, and installation activities.
- Assist in artwork documentation and cataloguing.
- Coordinate with galleries and vendors as required.
- Contribute to exhibition layouts, display planning, and basic 3D exhibition visualisation.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for exhibitions, events, and related projects.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Design, Museum Studies, Art History, or a related discipline.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to prepare professional concept notes and PowerPoint presentations.
- Basic understanding of Indian art history and contemporary art.
- Familiarity with exhibition design, display systems, and 3D exhibition visualisation tools is desirable.
- Understanding of museum, gallery, or exhibition operations will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for project-related work. A valid passport is preferred.
- Previous internship or project experience with museums, galleries, exhibitions, cultural organisations, or creative institutions will be an added advantage.
Stipend
₹10,000–₹15,000 per month, based on qualifications and relevant experience.
