Creative Web Designer Wanted to Refresh Our Digital Home Jobs in Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark at BuddyUp Social
We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Web Designer (Squarespace) to help us refresh and update our current website, which is overdue for a makeover.
This is a freelance/project-based role, with the potential to evolve into ongoing collaboration as we grow.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the founding team to refresh and elevate our current Squarespace website.
- Update and modernize the site to improve usability, design, and overall user experience.
- Ensure the site clearly reflects our brand identity, product, and vision.
- Optimize layout, visuals, and navigation to create a more engaging and conversion-friendly experience.
- Suggest and implement improvements across UX, content structure, and basic SEO.
- Support with ongoing updates and iterations as we test, learn, and grow.
What we’re looking for
- Experience designing and updating websites in Squarespace (this is a must).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, user-friendly design.
- Ability to work within an existing structure and elevate it without starting from scratch.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- A proactive mindset — someone who suggests improvements, not just executes tasks.
Nice to have
- Basic front-end skills (HTML/CSS) for custom tweaks.
- Experience working with early-stage startups or brand building.
- An eye for visual storytelling, branding, or light graphic design.
