THIS ROLE IS OFFICE BASED IN NORTH EAST, UK.
MDM Marketing Ltd is looking for a talented and driven Creative Video Producer & Editor to join our growing team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality short-form video content and photography across our client portfolio — from concept through to final delivery. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, can handle a high volume of output without compromising quality, and has a genuine passion for what makes content stop the scroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit high-quality short-form video content for social media platforms (long (podcast/brand videos) & short form (social, ads) content)
- Manage a high volume of creative output while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Apply precise sound design — matching sound effects and audio to video to maximise viewer retention
- Shoot and edit professional photography for use across campaigns and client deliverables
- Use Adobe After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve for advanced editing, motion graphics, and colour grading
- Collaborate with our team of clippers and content coordinators to ensure a smooth production pipeline
- Travel to client locations for shoots and on-site production as required
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative quality and engagement performance
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of short-form video principles — pacing, hooks, retention techniques
- Expert-level sound design: selecting and timing sound effects to keep viewers engaged
- Experience producing a high volume of creatives to tight deadlines
- Professional photography skills with a strong eye for composition and lighting
- A portfolio demonstrating measurable results (views, engagement, retention)
Desirable
- Experience in a marketing agency environment
- Familiarity with social media analytics and how to optimise content based on performance data
- Motion graphics experience
- Photography retouching skills (Adobe Lightroom)
