Overview
Creative Project Manager Jobs in Oakleigh, Victoria, Australia at SE Creative
We’re looking for a Creative Project Manager to own the flow of work across our entire creative function: capturing briefs, planning resources and getting projects delivered on time and to a high standard, for teams right across the business and the clients we partner with.
IF YOU…
- are a natural organiser who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving and collaborative environment…
- love order and momentum, and live for seeing things through to completion…
- stay calm and clear when priorities pile up and timelines tighten…
- communicate brilliantly — with creatives, commercial teams and clients alike…
- get a genuine kick out of making things run smoothly behind the scenes…
…then keep reading. We want to work with you.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
You’re the central coordination point between Creative, Commercial and the wider business — the person who knows what’s in, what’s next and who’s got room to take it on. To be successful, you’ll:
- Own the schedule. Manage the end-to-end creative schedule across product, marketing and business initiatives, prioritising in line with commercial goals, deadlines and capacity — and keeping status visible across the business.
- Run brief intake. Capture, document and track every creative brief in Asana, coordinating amendments and evolving requirements while keeping schedule integrity intact.
- Plan resources and capacity. Forecast workload, spot resourcing gaps and risks early, partner with Creative Leadership to balance the load, and bring in freelance or contractor support when the peaks demand it.
- Own the workflow system. Make Asana home base — accurate, trusted and well used — and champion best practice and adoption across teams and stakeholders.
- Protect quality and governance. Review artwork and deliverables for accuracy, completeness and readiness before sign-off, and keep governance tight across asset management, naming, version control, licensing and archiving.
- Report on what matters. Track utilisation, turnaround times, workload forecasting and delivery performance — and turn it into insights that make us sharper.
- Keep improving. Streamline processes, reduce rework, and help build scalable ways of working as creative output grows across the business.
WHO WE ARE
SE Products is the business behind some of Australia’s most beloved sport products and an official partner for major sporting brands such as the AFL, NRL and Cricket Australia. Our in-house Creative Team, SE Creative, is the creative engine behind it all, producing work across product, brand, campaigns and content for the whole business and a roster of external clients including Golf Australia, MCC and AFL.
Our appetite for achieving outstanding results drives who we are and what we do. It’s a fast-moving environment with a lot going on and that’s exactly why this role matters: you’ll be the one who brings order to the energy and keeps our brilliant work flowing.
CULTURE
At SE Products you’ll find good people — approachable, grounded, hard-working and talented. You’ll be part of a diverse group who hold high expectations, give and receive honest feedback, have a
lot of fun and love a bit of banter.
More than anything, you’ll quickly get the sense of ‘team’ and collaboration. We’re genuinely passionate about what we do, and committed to delivering work that sets us apart.
QUALIFICATIONS
This role suits an exceptional organiser who loves a fast-paced creative environment and can juggle multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines without dropping a ball. You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in Creative Operations, Studio Management, Traffic Management, Resource Management or a similar creative workflow role.
- A degree or recognised qualification in Design, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Confidence with project management and workflow platforms (Asana preferred), plus a strong understanding of creative production workflows — design, artwork and digital asset management.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in reporting and analysis. Experience within Adobe Creative Cloud environments is a bonus.
LOCATION
You’ll be based at our head office, just 20 minutes south-east of Melbourne and moments from Chadstone Shopping Centre and local café precinct — so you’ll be spoiled for choice on where to eat or grab a coffee.
