About The Role
We’re hiring a Creative Producer who can write in English but think like the US audience.
This role is not about generic English copy. It’s about understanding US viewing behavior, emotional triggers, pacing, and cultural context—and translating that into scroll-stopping promo scripts for short-form series and microdramas.
If you’ve studied (or worked on) platforms like US, ReelShort, DramaBox, Netflix shorts, TikTok series, or YouTube Originals, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Do
- Write high-impact English promo scripts for microdramas targeted specifically at the US audience.
- Craft hooks that work in the first 2–5 seconds and sustain intrigue till the payoff.
- Study and reverse-engineer top-performing US promos (ads, trailers, short-form clips) to identify repeatable narrative patterns.
- Collaborate with growth, performance marketing, editors, and show teams to optimize promos for conversions and retention.
- Adapt tone, pacing, and emotional beats based on US audience psychology, not Indian storytelling norms.
- Stay updated with US pop culture, OTT trends, storytelling formats, and ad creatives.
- Move fast in a high-volume environment without losing narrative sharpness.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in writing, short-form storytelling, or trailer writing in English.
- Proven exposure to or deep understanding of the US content market (via work, research, or scaled products).
- Strong grasp of dramatic tension, cliffhangers, emotional hooks, and character-driven narratives.
- Excellent command over written English with strong sense of rhythm, subtext, and punch.
- Ability to think like a writer + marketer—you care about what converts, not just what reads well.
- Comfortable working from India while aligning closely with US audience sensibilities.
Bonus (not Mandatory, But Spicy)
- Experience working on or closely analyzing ReelShort, or similar story apps
- Background in OTT, digital video, or performance-driven creative teams
