Role Description
You sit between creative direction and production. You develop ideas, get behind the camera, and edit when needed — owning projects from concept through to delivery. You work closely with the Creative Director and Account Managers to make sure what we plan actually gets made, and made well. This is not a purely executional role — we expect you to have opinions, contribute to strategy, and push the creative quality of everything you touch.
Qualifications
→ Develop content concepts and creative directions for client projects
→ Shoot video content across client productions — independently and as part of a team
→ Edit content when required — social formats, short-form, campaign video
→ Contribute to creative strategy sessions and content planning
→ Brief and collaborate with the Creative Director on production approach
→ Lead smaller productions independently from brief to delivery
→ Support Account Managers with creative input on client accounts
→ Stay sharp on platform trends, content formats, and what's actually working
What We're Looking For
→ Strong creative thinking — you have ideas and know how to communicate them
→ Solid videography skills — comfortable on set, confident with camera and lighting
→ Editing capability — able to cut social content to a professional standard
→ Understanding of short-form video platforms — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts
→ Comfortable working across multiple clients and industries simultaneously
→ Agency or production company background preferred
→ Bilingual Chinese and English is a strong plus
Great If You Have
→ Experience leading productions independently
→ Color grading skills
→ Motion graphics or basic VFX
→ Photography capability
What This Rols Is Not
→ Not a pure editor role — creative contribution is expected from day one
→ Not a solo role — you work closely with the Creative Director daily
→ Not for someone who needs a detailed brief to get started — we want someone who can run with a rough idea and make it great
